This microsite is a directory of best practices and elements to keep in mind in order to optimize and increase the chances of success of a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) approach. It has been designed by Quebec CQI agents for their peers or anyone interested in the subject. <\/p>\n\n

What is ACQ?<\/summary>\n

Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) is the continuous and combined effort of all stakeholders in an organization to make changes that will lead to better results at the quintuple aim<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CQI in healthcare is a fundamental approach to quality primary care. It rigorously combines reflective practice, the application of best practices, data analysis and teamwork. The approach is also characterized by the development of a culture in which all those involved demonstrate a systemic and reflective approach to identifying opportunities for improvement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CQI is one of the driving forces behind the development of a learning health system<\/a>, i.e. a health system in which health data from care delivery and research are analyzed to advance knowledge, which is then integrated into practices for continuous improvement.
