Launched in 2022 by the Unité de soutien SSA Québec in collaboration with the province’s four Réseaux universitaires intégrés de santé et de services sociaux (RUISSS), the SSA-RUISSS teams have completed their recruitment.

By deploying these teams, the Unit ensures a strong field anchorage in the RUISSSs. Indeed, the SSA-RUISSS teams are composed of territorial antennas that decentralize the expertise of the Unit by acting as branches of its scientific axes in the field.

  • Capacity-Building Branch

The Expériences patient partner community works on both fronts, from the development of experiential knowledge to its application in the field to improve practices in the health and social services network.

The SSA-RUISSS teams operate under a scientific-patient co-leadership and are guided by four experienced coordinators. Young researcher leaders as well as branch office managers are also part of the team.

Improving targeted priority trajectories with RUISSS: the PATIenTS program

Each territory has its own unique health needs and priorities. Everything starts with the patients. Are we able to track, measure and improve their trajectory from start to finish?

The PATIenTS program is an innovative proposal that aims to improve priority trajectories targeted with the RUISSSs in line with the priorities of the Ministry and the network of Health and Social Services.

Thanks to the PATIenTS program, the activation of the Québec learning health system (LHS) is taking place in the RUISSS territories of Québec through four concrete projects over a one-year period.
