- Support for teams and other partners in developing content and training programs related to patient-oriented research (POR) and the learning healthcare system (LHS).

- Support for the establishment of public or private communities of practice on topics related to POR and LHS

- Accompaniment in the realization of webinars or conferences related to POR and LHS in an interdisciplinary and intersectorial approach

Our activities
- Complementary training and capacity-building program for FRQ fellows on patient-oriented research, the learning healthcare system, care trajectories and the quintuple aim, in partnership with Québec’s three research funds. Fellowships offered in partnership with the Unit enable grant holders to hone their skills, enhance their career trajectory, network and work in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Training program aimed at any person or organization working in health in the fields of research, care and social services. Accompaniment of the Unit’s team members, experts and partners in the development of training content and programs

The patient-research partnership is based on my personal experience as a patient. This first-hand knowledge lets me approach research from a different angle—that of the patient—and allows me to make a small contribution to health care progress.
