Should health be researched at any cost? […] The constant growth in health care costs is leading decision makers to examine the economics of health technologies, programs and policies. Health economics assessments are tools to aid in decision-making and can be addressed from several perspectives, i.e., the payer, patients and society. This requires reconciling several different perspectives.
