On November 29, Dr. Antoine Groulx, Scientific Director of the Unité de soutien SSA Québec, was awarded the prize Distinction Santé Durable, research component, by the Association pour la santé publique du Québec (ASPQ). With this award, the ASPQ underlines its contribution to the implementation of a learning health system in which prevention and promotion of sustainable health are included and where all the strengths of the different actors are united to offer the right services to the right people at the right time.

The Sustainable Health Distinction Awards are presented annually to personalities from different backgrounds and highlight their outstanding contribution to the support of prevention and social development in Quebec. This year, along with Antoine Groulx, SOS Violence conjugale, the Olo Foundation, the City of Prévost, the City of Saint-Jérôme, Marvin Rotrand and the Collectif pour la prévention du suicide received these awards.

This award is a collective recognition, which I humbly accept on behalf of all my colleagues, who are the ones who are really making a difference in this major collective project that is the implementation of Québec’s sustainable and learning health system. – Dr. Antoine Groulx
