The Unité de soutien SSA Québec (Quebec’s SPOR support Unit) is pleased to welcome Dr. Patrick Archambault as its incoming scientific director, effective September 1, 2025, to ensure a smooth transition until March 31, 2026, when the term of Dr. Antoine Groulx ends. He will act as the designated principal investigator for our mandate renewal application.
Dr. Archambault is an emergency physician, intensivist, and clinical researcher at U niversité Laval. He is a full professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine and the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care. He has been a loyal collaborator of the Unit for many years, particularly in the COMPAS+ initiative and the CONSTELLATIONS living laboratory, which is consolidating a learning health system to improve the transition of care for vulnerable seniors.
