The Unité de soutien au système de santé apprenant (SSA) Québec is proud to announce the launch of the SSA-RUISSS teams in Québec. The Unit thus ensures that the four University Health and Social Services Networks (hereafter referred to as RUISSS) are firmly anchored in the field.
Professor Marie-Ève Poitras' team conducted an environmental scan (practice identification study) to know the current state of knowledge and use of measures of health status and experience of care self-reported by patients in professional organizations as well as in organizations representing patients in Québec.
Supported by the Unité de soutien SSA Québec, Mylaine Breton, a researcher at the Université de Sherbrooke, and her team have drawn up a portrait of the level of implementation of teleconsultations in the COVID-19 context and their advantages and disadvantages compared to in-person medical visits. The Community of Practice supports teams who wish to engage citizens, patients or caregivers in their projects or governance. It also offers training on patient partnership.
On March 24, 2022, the Unité de soutien au système de santé apprenant (SSA) Québec held the summit "Building Québec's Learning Health System Together". The population and key members of our health and social services network were at the same event to build the future. This gathering was an opportunity to initiate a real shift towards partnership and continuous improvement of our health system.
The Indigenous Patient Circle of Quebec is an independent and self-determined community whose purpose is to provide a safe space for its members to share and to guide the implementation of the Unité de soutien SSA Québec's Indigenous Health Program.
