Scaling up

Scaling up innovations in health and social services can be defined as a process of extending practices, interventions, or programs that have demonstrated their effectiveness to a larger scale, often at the regional, national, or international level.

This includes not only replicating the innovation in similar contexts, but also adapting it to the specificities of other environments. The central concept remains that of broadening the impact of proven innovations so that they benefit a greater number of people.
