New mission for the Unité de soutien SSA Québec: supporting the continuous improvement of the health system

The Unité de soutien au système de santé apprenant (SSA) Québec has had its funding renewed as a provincial unit of the national network of the Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research until March 31, 2026, and has made continuous improvement of the Québec health system a joint project with the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux du Québec.

New provincial leadership for continuous quality improvement in the health and social services network

The Ministère de la santé et des services sociaux du Québec mandates the Unité de soutien au système de santé apprenant (SSA) Québec to structure and deploy continuous quality improvement (hereinafter referred to as CQI) in order to contribute to the emergence of a learning health system in which the scientific expertise recognized in CQI in Québec allows for the improvement of practices in the network.

The Unité de soutien SSA Québec helps the City of Québec adopt the Learning City model

On September 27, 2022, Quebec City unveiled its Active Mobility Vision 2023-2027 and its aspiration to become a learning city. The Unité de soutien SSA Québec is proud to contribute to the achievement of the City of Québec's goal and welcomes this sustainable health-oriented exercise that includes a co-construction with the population and is based on science.
